Colorful Australian Birds, Finger Puppet of 5

Five hand-felted Australian bird finger puppets, Pelican, Pink Robin, Palm Cockatoo, Fairy Wren, and Crimson Rosella. The set teachers reach for when they want regional biodiversity in the storytelling cast (not the default European/American animals).

Educator notes: Australian ornithology unit work, world-birds compare-and-contrast lessons, or simply a vivid color-saturated set for general bird vocabulary. Pairs naturally with the Australiana Birds Educator Set (sold separately) and the Tara Treasures playmats.

Specs: 5 finger puppets. 100% wool felt. Fair-trade, hand-stitched by a women's felting cooperative in Nepal. Designed by Tara Treasures (Australia). Spot-clean only. Ages 3+.
