Playscape Play Mat

This handmade felt play mat is designed to spark children's imaginations, vividly bringing to life the story of the clever mouse who meets a fox, an owl, and a snake—and ultimately outwits.

Explore the adventure:

• The fox's underground home—the burrow where the sly fox tries to invite the mouse to lunch.
• The owl's tree—a tall tree stump where the wise old owl hopes to enjoy the mouse for afternoon tea.
• The snake's log pile home—the cunning snake's home built from logs, luring the mouse in for a feast.

The logs and trees are detachable, so children can rearrange them on their own or use them as play accessories. This interactive design encourages creative storytelling, problem-solving, and open-ended play.

Each piece is carefully handmade by skilled women artisans in Nepal using 100% New Zealand wool and azo-free dyes, making it a safe, sustainable, and ethically made choice for play.

Pair it with our finger puppets for a complete storytelling experience.
